Flower for Na'omi

By now you must have heard of the plight of the abducted Nigerian schoolgirls.

Illustrators Janna Morton and Rebecca Bradley have created “Blooms of Nigeria” to draw attention to the individuals lost and make the issue more visible, in their own way, as women artists.

They asked me to join them in making a picture of a single flower and writing the name of one of the 180 known missing girls, in dedication and hope.

So this flower is for you Na'omi.
I'm worried, upset, confused about what is happening to you.

As a mother.
As a woman.
As a free spirit.
